This year’s edition of the ET annual meeting brought together a vibrant community of scientists, engineers, data specialists, industry partners, and early-career researchers — both in person and online. It provided a platform to review progress in the ET design and preparatory work, discuss key technical challenges, and coordinate activities across the project. The programme featured plenary presentations, parallel technical sessions, and dedicated meetings of scientific and coordination groups, covering topics from detector infrastructure and site studies to data analysis and scientific exploitation.
Two community-focused events complemented the scientific programme: the Early Career Researchers Meeting on 11 November, and the Conference Dinner on 13 November, both fostering networking and collaboration across institutions and career stages.
The 2025 Annual Meeting highlighted the growing momentum of the Einstein Telescope project as it advances through the preparatory phase. Outcomes from the discussions in Opatija will support the next steps toward the construction of a third-generation gravitational-wave observatory in Europe.
