The Einstein Telescope is a highly ambitious research infrastructure designed to open a new era of gravitational-wave astronomy and fundamental physics. Making ET a success will require a new generation of highly qualified researchers, engineers, and specialists who continuously develop skills across science, technology, and collaboration.
Below we are publishing a snapshot of options that are openly accessible to the wider early-career ET community right now — from a near-term in-person workshop to flexible self-study resources and a summer school focused on multimessenger astrophysics.
The 24th IUVSTA Vacuum School is a one-week training programme dedicated to vacuum science and technology, aimed at young scientists, engineers, doctoral students, industrial experts, beginners and newcomers who use vacuum technology in their work but are not yet specialists in the field.
Hosted by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany, the school will combine lectures, practical sessions and direct interaction with internationally recognised experts from academia and industry. The programme will cover the theory, design, instrumentation and operation of vacuum systems, helping participants bridge the gap between technical literature and practical applications.
The school is supported by the International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications (IUVSTA) and jointly organised by the Institute of Astro-Particle Physics at KIT and the German Vacuum Society (DVG).

The International Gravitational Wave Network (IGWN) School is an intensive one-week programme for graduate students and early-career researchers interested in contributing to gravitational-wave astronomy through engagement with the global LIGO–Virgo–KAGRA collaboration.
Hosted by Perimeter Institute in Waterloo, Canada, the school will provide an introduction to the science, infrastructure, techniques, and collaborative practices behind modern gravitational-wave astronomy. Participants will explore key aspects of gravitational-wave observations, including detector operations and characterisation, data analysis, astrophysical interpretation, multi-messenger astronomy, and integration into large international collaborations.
The programme will include lectures, tutorials, and interactive sessions led by scientists from the international gravitational-wave community. Students interested in sharing their research may submit an abstract for consideration for a group poster session.

The second edition of the AIPHY school, which will focus on Bayesian statistics. The school, organised jointly by the Department of Physics of the University of Milano-Bicocca, the Gran Sasso Science Institute and INFN, will take place at the Gran Sasso Science Institute. It is offered with no registration fee and includes coffee breaks and lunches.
Over the course of five days, participants will start from the core principles of Bayesian Data Analysis to the advanced frontiers of Bayesian Neural Networks and Simulation-Based Inference. Common pitfalls in application will be analysed and a flagship case study in the detection and characterisation of gravitational waves will be studied. The schedule integrates extensive hands-on sessions after each lecture. The program also features a half-day visit to the underground facility of the Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso.
