The Einstein Telescope played a significant role at the event, being highlighted by Italy’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, and his delegate, Anna Maria Bernini. Key figures such as INAF President Roberto Ragazzoni, INFN President Antonio Zoccoli, and Nikhef’s outgoing director Stan Bentvelsen delivered the only scientific presentation in the plenary session, underscoring ET’s importance.
With a presence in three exhibition spaces, ET attracted strong interest from top-tier companies at the forum. Many sought to engage, ask questions, and explore potential collaborations—a powerful testament to the connection between fundamental science, innovation, and economic growth.
The event was a great success, bringing together 1,300 delegates from over 500 organizations across 32 countries, with 245 exhibitors and 14 national pavilions. The next edition of the BSBF will be held in 2026 in Maastricht.
